What happens if you kill or upload Skye Larsen in Watchdogs Legion?
Skye Larsen is a potential villain in Watchdogs Legion. You and your DeadSec team mates begin looking into Larsen during the 404 questline, in the hopes that she actually is Zero Day. The leader of the group in charge of the bombings at the start of the game.
Upon investigating her, you learn that Larsen created a method for uploading consciousness into a machine. And you walk in on her performing that very act to her own consciousness. Uploading herself into the machine would mean her consciousness would be immortalized in a computer forever. And after seeing what she did to her late mothers’ consciousness, there’s some ethnic boundaries you feel you have to consider as to whether or not you want to let her go ahead with it. But does your choice in letting her live or die really matter? In terms of storyline, will that affect future gameplay?
In short, no. There are no real game changing / story developing consequences from whatever choice you make. No part of the continuing story is affected by your decision here. You do however experience slightly different dialogue depending on your choice.
If you’ve had enough of Skye and want to end her, then Nowt will be glad and will congratulate you on a choice well made. If you feel somewhat empathetic towards Skye and choose to upload, Nowt will at first be very angry and let you know all too well about her feelings. But a short while later, she calms down and comes to terms with your decision. Either way, no real affect on the story campaign. So make your own choice here and don’t worry about the outcome! All further missions from this point onwards continue the same either way.
Watchdogs Legion is set in a ‘near future’ London where drones, state surveillance and private military are everywhere.
You play as part of a hacker unit, DeadSec. It’s time to take back London and free it from it’s downfall.
